It did 'severe' damage to my 2001 Ford Expedition. The tires only have 32,768 miles. It curled by rear fender under, bent my running board down, tore off the side molding, and even cracked the rear lift gate door. I don't feel safe driving on these tires anymore as they are close to the recall dated tires. I'm waiting to see if General Tire is going to do anything. The Ford dealer is already giving me the run around and I'm not sure where to turn to now......The vehicle will not be on the highway until this issue is resolved. Here it's a month later and the tire on the rear right steel belt broke. I took the tire off in time, if i hadn't my whole rear off my truck problably would've been destroyed.
