<description>I have been takin Celebrex for about 2 months and have had an increasing problem of swollen ankles, feet and hands. It is very painful and worrisome. I have been taking the medication for arthritis in my neck. I have also seen my blood pressure rise. I used to take Bextra with no problems but my doctor took me off Bextra due to non-availability and swithched me to Celebrex. After reading this article, I am inclined to call my doctor and tell him that I&#039;m concerned with the side effects and will be stopping the Celebrex. I can&#039;t believe that he told me it was safer than Bextra!.
