They went in and turned the switch mode off so it will not affect the therapy. My concern is that the switch may still get stuck in the off psoition and possibly cut the life of the unit and the audible alarm goes off,it will need to be replaced. I need a little more assurance than that since I travel overseas. I really don't want to be in a third world country when this happens. I have contacted my physician and the department that does the inplant. They had me fax them the article on Guidant recall to even know what I was talking about.
