During 2004, my Doctor raised the dosage to 40mg. Starting in Spring 2005, I experienced severe pain in my legs. My Doctor gave me a pain killer. In August 2005, I was admitted to a hospital where I was removed from Lipitor 40mg. My pain went away. Be VERY WARY of this med! I was prescribed LIPITOR 20mg. several years ago.
